Dear Kids,
You two are just so happy!
Seriously, even in the wee hours of the morning, you are just smiling!
Since Kalvin was born, you have seen a lot of knew things Kacie! You are most intrigued by me pumping.
One day you somehow got a hold of my pump and brought it over to me while I was typing and put it on my boob and tried to pump! I really love how smart you are!
One night you brought your stool and put it on daddy. Then you proceeded to climb on it and balance on his tummy! You couldn't turn your head all the way around to look at the camera because you would lose your balance so you gave me a silly side stare.
One of these days I am going to have a kid that has my blonde hair and blue eyes…
But until then I will just admire these big dark handsome eyes of yours!
I try really hard to entertain you with things other than my iPad (which doesn't always happen) but one time you did get really into your Mr. Potato Heads. You kept taking their hands and clapping them or using them to point around.
You kids are just too cute!
One night, daddy wanted to go play water polo but I didn't want to be alone so I took you and Kalvin swimming (ironically) alone, and daddy got to enjoy his favorite thing in the world! You are so adorable in your cute suit!
Kalvin you are good at holding up your head and we love letting you!
We bought this 'Hobbes' shirt a while ago and I have been so excited for you to wear it.
You outgrew your newborn things at 5 weeks! You're now in your 3 month clothes.
Silly face!
Cross eyes and baby smiles! My favorite!
Your sister loves you soooo much Kalvin!
But not too much.
"Ew Kalvin. Don't touch me!"
And she still always tries to steal the show!
We can't believe that you are going to be 2 soon Kacie! You can sing the ABC's with me. I mean, you just mumble similar sounds as I do but it's so adorable and you've got some of the letters down. You were in the bath one night and you just randomly counted to 6 all on your own. You still have trouble saying 'seven' so you either stop at 6 or just skip it to get to eight!
Kalvin you amaze me with how little you cry. So when you do, I sometimes just hold you up and watch you. There is something so adorable about little newborn cries that make my heart flutter. I mean, I know that sounds a bit mean but I don't let you cry for long. Your little lip quivers, and your cries are just so quiet and I am weird because I love it!
You too kids are just growing so fast!
Love,
Mom and Dad
