Swings, Morning Tears & My BFF!

Dear Kacie,

When you have siblings, I am not going to be able to document every detail of their lives, like I have yours. But it's not because I won't love them as much, or because I won't be excited when they do little things like start waving, or start playing peek-a-boo. It's just that there will be two of you! And it will be  more difficult to capture those moments, and remember each date that it happens! So I hope you will help me with your siblings someday and help them feel just as special as you feel.

One of those precious moments I was able to capture was you getting out of the bath and snuggling up to daddy. It was so precious! you just rested your little head on his shoulder and smiled.

Sometimes when I need to get things done on my computer, I have to let you get into a little trouble. Otherwise, you hit the keys, poke your head, and pull plastic off our router.

This was one of those times...

I took you to the park one day… you really weren't that impressed with the swings. Maybe in a few weeks daddy and I will take you. Dad makes everything more exciting!

You have started to cuddle up to us a lot more lately, and we love it!

In the mornings when you wake up you usually are crying. One particular morning I went in and you were a little crazy looking.

And then you started chewing on the crib… Didn't help…

But you just wanted to be taken out of your crib. Once I picked you up, you were fine!

You will occasionally watch Baby Einstein, and let me get some stuff done. But only if it's like a 5 minute project. That's about how long your attention spans for TV.

Just sleeping with your hanger at your side. I like to think of it as your weapon.

B now, I hope you know who Jenessa is. She's my Best Friend.

She graduated last week from BYU!

We went and hung out with her for a bit, to give her a break from studying for finals. You like her!

About 2 weeks ago, it was pretty warm! I was getting hot in my jeans so I went out and bought 3 new shorts!

And then it got cold.

And then it got even more cold.

And now it is snowing.

What?

Anyway, back to when it got cold. One day it was super windy. We had taken dad to work that day so that we could have the car. Every where that we were driving we could see flags waving in the wind. It was so beautiful to see that sight! I think it should always be windy!

I hope you grow up knowing how lucky you are to be American!

We love you!

Mom & Dad
