Sickness, Tooth and Pretzels!

Dear Kacie,

This post is both sad and very exciting!

You woke up on Friday with a little cough and were terribly congested. We kept you hydrated but on Saturday you woke up with a fever. This is the first time you've been sick since you were born. So we have been very blessed that you made it through winter without getting sick a lot.

But you were just so snuggly and tired… It was over the weekend so you got to stay with dad a lot. You were attached to dad all weekend! Like, you didn't want me!

We gave you several baths to help keep your sinus's clear.

You started feeling better on Monday morning. Not great but you smiled and played on your own!

And the exciting part of your sickness was that you got a TOOTH! It's just poking out a little bit but it took you 10 months!!

We have been going on walks a lot more and we walked to Macey's one day and bought some pretzels. I put 6 on your stroller tray thinking that would last you a few minutes...

But you grabbed them all!

It's incredible how smart you are and we just love seeing you learn new things! You love pretzels now and they definitely keep you very happy no matter what we are doing!

We love you so very much deary!!!
