Celebrate Good Times, Come On!

Dear Kacie,

One day you were holding on to the couch and then let go and walked to the middle of the floor. When you got there, you just stopped like "Now what?"

Your favorite thing to do is open the cupboard and take out this cup and chew on it!

On my birthday Daddy put on your birthday outfit!! Cupcake butt!!!!

I decided for my birthday (while your dad was at work) I would go and buy myself some awesome birthday earrings!

Don't worry, those ^ aren't the ones I got!

I've got to be honest. This was a rough birthday. You know when people ask "Do you feel older?" Well I've never answered with a yes but this year I did. And not in a good way! I think it was also because I was alone all day. I mean yes, you were there, but you were super fussy aaalllllll day. Not a very nice present for your mommy!

But I went and got some free ice cream!!!

And you smiled for a second, like literally, I am shocked you look happy in this picture because you were actually crying.

All a girl needs is her debit card and make-up.

And in your case, it's an old McDonalds gift card and my empty mascara… sooo ya...

The day instantly got better when we picked up daddy from work!

We went to The Brick Oven for dinner.

Because pizza is my favorite.

And it was delicious.

Trying to get a picture of her cupcake bum!

And then to end the day, my BFF Jenessa came and we had a wonderful time catching up and reminiscing in our past!

Earlier in the day my other BFF Dano, came and brought me this amazing mini cake!

I didn't eat the whole thing in one day.

And I did share with your dad.

I had a great birthday in the end. And my biggest birthday present was redecorating the bathroom… which is still a work in progress! But it is going to be amazing when I finish it! I'm close!

Your father is the best for letting me do that because it was a little expensive. But I am soooo excited for it to be done.

These Disco Eggs are the present from my mom. They are AMAZING and I love them sooooo much!

I love disco balls and they are even better when they are colorful!

I am 24 and I feel old. Like not 'grandparent, white hair old.' Just like, 'holy crap I have a baby and I've been married almost 4 years' old.

The next day I took dad to work again. We love to visit him at work. It makes everyone's day a lot better! Daddy's face just lights up when he see's you and so does yours. It just melts my heart to see you two interact. I hope you always know how much your daddy loves you!

Well, I ended up having a great birthday week (a little more to come on that soon).

I'm so glad you were here for my birthday, even though you were so grumpy. I still love you!

Love,
mom and dad
