9 Month Madness!

KACIE!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, you are nine months old! We made it to the "9 months in, 9 months out" mark! 

And don't worry, tomorrow you will be 10 months old. Thats just how far behind I am in my posting!!!

You know how I usually do those cute pictures with your month age hanging or sitting next to you and you look good and pretty and perfect?

Well, that did not happen at nine months. I had even made this cute shirt and I was going to put you in a skirt and it was going to be adorable!

Instead, I got these...

I guess that they are still pretty dang cute and they showcase your personality (which is never holding still) pretty well!

You had your 9 months check up, and guess what? You are tiny!!!!

Weight: 16.13 lbs, 26 percentile

Length: 26.5 in 12 percentile

Head Circumference: 43

You are so healthy and haven't been sick so they aren't too worried. The doctor said you might be small because you are so active for your age. Because YOU ARE WALKING already!!! What?!?

You still love wipe parties.

Bath time, and dad are a favorite night time occurrence!

I am soooo glad we caught this moment!. We were just eating dinner and you poked your little head up and watched us eat like "Are you going to finish that?"

We went and flew kites finally!

Getting ready to walk to church! It kind of looks like you want to cry but you are actually smiling because you love your stroller!

One night we went to visit Uncle Trevor. He sat in the seat of our car next to you and you literally stared at him like this the whole time. You are still unsure of how you feel about him. Kind of funny, but mostly just sad…

Someday (hopefully soon) you will like him! Staring is progress because it's not crying!

You still like to play with your board, but you mostly just love to pull the fabric out. Glad I thought to put that on there!

You love to be moving and active all the time. You love to look at our phones. If we are talking on them you want us to show it to you. And when we do, you just smile at it. People are constantly telling us you could be a Gerber Baby. You are basically the most beautiful thing on the planet.

You do like your books, but your attention span isn't very long when it comes to sitting still. Unless, of course, we are trying to get something done, then you will sit absolutely still for hours on our lap.

You still don't have any teeth, but that's ok because you are really smart and you are already walking. Plus, I am still nursing you several times a day. It's a rough thing though because you don't like to sit still, so you are constantly stopping and looking around in the middle of nursing.

You still love your pacifiers and we love them too! Your hair is always out of control, but that's what makes you so cute!

I still have lots of rough days with you. I love you so much but it can be really tiring to take care of a baby all day. But you are constantly reminding me that it is worth it. And that I am really lucky to be blessed with you in my life. See, that's your brains at work again, you smart baby!

You make your father so undeniably happy. He loves watching you learn new things and being constantly surprised at how smart you are. Dad takes such good care of you and I. He loves us a lot and you can just see his face light up when he sees you. We are lucky to have him!

We love you bunches and bunches!
