Candy Ornaments!

Dear Kacie,

you've started to roll up your tortillas like mom and dad do! You will put some food on it and then roll it up and attempt to eat it!

Mommy has been doing some make cleaning lately. I'm trying to make some room for Kalvin! We cleaned out a big box of stuff and you found a beanie that my friend made for me in HS.

You loved putting it on. Of course you wouldn't wear it for long at a time but you kept having us put it on you.

I found so many old memories in my boxes. I kept some but just took pictures of others. When I worked at Ready Auto Transport me and my friend Ashley would pass back little notes all the time. I kept most of them for a long time but these were some of the last. I was just laughing at so many of them but these two had pills taped to them. Which as I remember, she constantly taped pills to her notes and it was hilarious.

And waaaay back when I lived in Utah as a little girl, I go this picture for my birthday. I finally got rid of it after years and years and years of it sitting in a box. But now I have a picture of it in case I ever need to re-print it!

I think I was at the store or maybe a meeting but dad sent me this picture of you hanging out with him.

You've started climbing into dads closet a lot. One day you climbed in and just sat there! It was a little creepy, but in an adorable way.

This pillow was one of the things I found in the box. You carried it around one day and had dad pick you up. You laid it on his face and then leaned on it and said 'aah'

We had to pick up your Uncle Trev from the airport so I made dad take advantage of the long drive to Salt Lake to take us to The Lion House. That place never disappoints and because the menu changes all the time, it forces me to get different things each time.

And the desserts! MMMMMMM!!! That red velvet cake was delightful!

In the window of the mall they had these giant ornaments that people had made out of candy. You heard me, the entire thing is decorated with candy. And they were beautiful!

You are so fun to take places because everything just fascinates you and you love walking around and exploring. You walk slow, but I am getting increasingly slower too so it's ok… most of the time…
