Whole30: Day's 2 & 3

Ok, if you haven't checked out the Whole30 timeline then do it!

Some people don't have all, or any, of these experiences. But for me, it's been a little accurate. So as I do my daily updates, this is the timeline I am referring to.

I definitely had the 'hangover' feeling. I didn't have terrible headaches but I had a few. And especially on day 3 Kyle and I were both very lethargic. We didn't necessarily want to sleep, we just didn't want to move.

For dinner we grilled some chicken, carrots and an avocado.

The carrot was just the ones that I baked (in this post)

It was a really simple, but absolutely delicious dinner.

For Day 3 (3 days down? Seriously!?) I made some homemade BBQ sauce and it is seriously the most delicious BBQ sauce Kyle or I have ever had.

(and if you use your flash while taking a picture of it, you get magic gold swirls mixed in!)

The BBQ sauce recipe is in the book and if you have the book I highly recommend making it!

If you do not have the book, I just might post the recipe if I get around to typing it up.

With our Magically delicious BBQ sauce, we had Stushi!

It's just steak rolled around veggie's. We only used bell peppers last night but in the future we might try something else like zucchini and carrot?

We also had another grilled avocado with it.

We went on a walk after dinner and although we were tired, it felt good to not only be taking care of our health in regards to what we eat, but in our exercise. (not that it was intense walking, but it was better than sitting on the couch eating popcorn and M&M's… which sounds amazing by the way.)

The sugar cravings are still very prevalent for Kyle and I. But I just think of how I felt after eating the sugar and it makes it a little easier to not buy it!
