5 Kilometers

Dear Kacie,

Your dad is awesome!

He signed up to run a 5K a couple months ago and then he ran it!

He would like to eventually do a triathlon, cause swimming is more his thing!

But I was so excited. We were going to go sit at the finish line and wait for him. And then we went outside… and it was RAINING! Like, not sprinkling, raining.

So instead we parked the car, you slept, and I sat there.

But I was so proud of him for doing it! Next time, I'm going to do it with him! I don't think I will ever do a marathon, but I could do 5K's, and maybe a half marathon.

Anyway, WAY TO GO KYLE!!

You love to walk around the apartment. One day dad went into the bathroom and you went looking for him.

You walked down the hall and then turned around and came back saying 'ayaya' which I am pretty sure means 'dadada'

We've started holding your hands and letting you walk.

A) you're really slow
B) it really hurts our backs after a few minutes

So we don't do it often

I gave you your first braid on Sunday! It is just about the cutest thing ever.

You love to play with your horse. You push the music button and then dance and then push the button again. You've also started dancing standing up and its adorable!

We love to go visit dad at work!

We got there early one day and so we played in the grass.

You found your first stick! And you were attached to it!

When we put you in your carseat, we had to take it away because you tried to eat it.

Let's just say, you were not smiling like you are in the below picture.

Then we went to a baseball game at daddy's school. It was freezing cold, and you didn't even care!

You just wanted to walk around and you kept yelling out to all the people below.

Dad loved watching you and playing with you while watching the game. I think you are going to have to like sports cause daddy is going to force you too!

Someday he will take you to a Cardinals game. And then it will be epic. And you will be wearing all red!

We love taking you on new adventures.

You make everything better!

Love,
Dad and Mom
