Parents of Two!

Dear Children,

Kacie, you are officially a toddler. You are always doing toddler things!

Which in this case 'toddler things' means that you are playing in your baby brothers bath tub chair!

My dear Aunt Susan threw a family party to celebrate babies being born, pregnancies being announced and people graduating. It was a lovely evening spent with family that we won't get to see much after we move!

Sometimes I am nursing when you wake up (and sometimes I'm still trying to sleep…) But either way, almost every morning when I come in to get you, you will be sitting like this, and I love it!

We went to the farm at Thanksgiving Point with Dez, Dano and Gus again.

There was a little pony that was just so precious I wanted to curl it up and put it in my pocket!

They have this room that is like a mini farm.

It has trees and bushes and 'ground' and then these little boards that have fruits and veggies on them. You can hang them on the trees or plant them in the planters.

And then you take them to a conveyor belt that takes them to the market!

You loved the conveyor belt and it was so fun to watch you put the food on, over and over and over again.

After that we went on the horse ride. 

And then on our way out we stopped by the pony again. Gus gave you a really intense hug that ended in you both crashing to the ground shortly after this picture!

But you both recovered quickly!

The donkey at this farm kind of goes crazy sometimes! And it's pretty loud so it freaked you out Kacie! You ran and hid behind Desiree's leg and it was hilarious!

Another favorite thing of your is swings! We love to go on walks and go to the park. You will make daddy put you on all the different swings (big kids and baby) and push you a lot. It's awesome because you're now able to hold on all on your own!

You love to make noises into paper tubes. You pick them up and shove them to my mouth and make me sing into them while you listen. Then you will try and copy the sounds I make.

Kacie still loves to put you on her tummy Kalvin. She still just giggles and giggles when we do that.

And sometimes I sit around with both of you guys on my lap and I just wonder when this happened! And then I remember exactly when and how you entered the world and I'm like "I got this."

You've discovered post-it notes Kacie. You always want to play with them! I would love to let you, but I'm pretty sure they would run out super fast and then you'd be mad anyway… So I gave you a small stack and now you'll never get to play with them again… sorry!

One day, on our visit to daddy's work, you made him push around a stroller while you pushed yours around too. At one point you even got in your stroller and pushed your toy stroller at the same time.

Kalvin fell asleep on the way home and I didn't want to bother him yet… so much for that! 

It's kind of funny that your bib says 'snack-a-saurus' because you don't actually snack really. You just nurse...

We went to the toy section one day cause I'm not really sure what to get you for your birthday Kacie. You LOVED the little shopping carts so don't be surprised if you get one of those!

Plus you kept this hat on for a few minutes and it was adorable!

We love being parents of 2 kids! It's super fun to watch so much personality come form such tiny humans.
