Dear Kacie and Kalvin,
You are both just growing like crazy!
Kacie, one day I got out your coloring book and you colored this picture. I was SO impressed because you colored his eyes like that all by yourself! I wasn't even looking when you started doing it. I wasn't there helping you at all!
We went and bought you some new summer clothes and I am totally jealous! I wish I could wear pink striped shorts and ice cream and be as adorable as you are!
While I nurse Kalvin, you will sit on dad and I's bed and play on my iPad. You will pull the blankie up and tuck yourself in. It's so cute!
I'm hoping you are getting over your 'no pictures' phase because you are just too adorable not to be photographed! And it's already hard to get a picture of both of you looking good so when you want your picture taken its a big help.
Dinner at The Smoking Apple. Daddy sure loves having two of you to wrestle when we go out!
And Kalvin is like "Oy, mom. Not another picture!"
Your dad accomplished something big! He is graduating from college! So all of our family came to town to celebrate and watch him walk and receive his diploma.
Aunt Mallory was the first to arrive and she brought her cool sunglasses!
I made this awesome sign
and these adorable decorations!
As you can tell, Kalvin was stoked to meet everyone!
Here he is with Aunt Aub, meeting each other for the first time.
And here are grandma and Grandpa doing homework, while Kacie, you are of course, playing on grandmas iPad.
The first event for your dad was the commencement. Mitt Romney was the speaker and dad had his grandpa, brother and sister there too. He hung out with my cousin Melissa who was also graduating!
We were really excited to have them all in town and for dads parents to get there too. We had a fun, full weekend ahead of us!
Love,
Mommy & Graduated Father
