Happy Birthday Kacie!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KACIE!!!!!

You're getting so big and old and smart and fun!

We love to play those games where we bounce you on our knees with some clever poem and then tip you over but you just want to skip ahead to the part where we tip you backwards. It's sooo cute!

You don't wave as much as you did when you learned but sometimes you randomly wave while we are feeding you and you almost always wave if we say 'Bye.' We love to get you to wave to us or to people walking by.

You really like to feed yourself. You only have your bottom two teeth still so we feed you pureed foods  mostly but I made muffins last week and you love them! It made me really happy because you usually don't like breads.

You aren't really attached to your pacifier but you will take it if we give it to you. It's kind of nice because I think it will be easy to wean you off of it when that time comes. We have actually forgotten twice this week when we went out and you ended up being alright.

You love playing with other kids. It doesn't matter how old they are, you just like people that are smaller than adults. And you somehow can tell when they are! You giggle and squeal when you see them.

You love to swim and its adorable. You even kick your legs!

You have started to copy sounds and actions that we make/do. That's really fun and, of course, cute. You started clapping a couple weeks ago and then started giving high fives. That's dad's favorite thing that you do.

Speaking of dad, you are completely attached to him. If he is in the room, you want him, you follow him, you cry for him, you are attached to him and it's adorable!

June 19th 2013. Your due date and before I started having contractions.

This was before the epidural, probably.

This was after the epidural!

We are so blessed to have you in our lives. You make every day a joy, even when we are running low on patience!

You're the perfect baby and we are excited, as always, to see where life takes you!

We love you so much baby girl!

Love,
Dad & Mom
