KG Squared: Baby Kisses!

Dear Kacie,

You like ribs.

There is definitely no vegetarianism going on around here. You love meat just as much as your dad and I do!

This little piano was connected to your play mat but you were never interested in the piano part when you were younger. But one day I pulled it out just to see and now you love it!

Some people might wonder "Well how do you know it's nap time?"

To them, I would show them this:

(at least you're an adorable grumpy baby!)

I had a doctors appointment and they have this bench that has blocks stored inside of it. It was perfect to play with and keep you entertained.

You would take a block out and hand it to this other girl. Then go back and grab another one and hand it to the girl. After that girl left you started picking blocks up and putting them away!

There's no going back now Kacie. We know you can clean up your toys.

You love spending time with dad.

And pretzels. You love pretzels too!

Remember how I was talking about loving meat?

Ironically I took this picture at Target. I really need this.

Your birthday is soon and we got you an early birthday present!

You LOVE this chair!

You love a lot of things… because you also love green beans!

Mom and dad love ice cream. I found these adorable tiny ice creams at Macey's. seriously, they are the best and even have a little spoon built in to the lid!

So we've talked about your boyfriend before and how we love hanging out with our future in-laws.

(The funny thing is that me and dad's parents used to talk about their kids getting married so they could be in-laws and it actually happened, so don't disappoint us!)

Anyway, we went to see their new place and go swimming.

They also took us to this delicious place called Swig and got us (ok, me) hooked on these amazing sugar cookies!

When we were swimming in the pool someone said to Haze "give Kacie kisses" and then he did!

Awwww, your first kiss!

The pictures don't show all of the times you actually did kiss.

It was a lot.

Because we kept telling you guys to.

And you kept doing it.

Eventually Haze was just coming on too strong and you started pulling away.

But don't worry, you didn't turn him away too many times.

Baby kisses are the best!

Having them in our life has made things way more exciting. They are seriously the sweetest family and we love every minute we spend with them! We are absolutely blessed to know them!

So most of the time your naps go really well and you sleep for an hour and a half to 2 hours and then you wake up and we all feel a bit refreshed. But sometimes, I need a few extra minutes. So I let you play in your crib (as long as you're not screaming)

One day I checked on you via video monitor and this is what I saw:

A DIAPER PARTY!!

You were having a great time!

One night we had sloppy joes and we have been so frustrated with finding things to fee you. Baby food is expensive and you plow through it so fast that we are buying $40 worth every week and a half.

So that night I was like, lets just give her a huge serving of our sloppy joes!

(side note, we always give you some of our food but usually because you yell at us if we don't)

Anyway, you LOOOVED them!
