Daddy Time, Baby Kisses and Balloons!

Dearest Kacie,

You love your dad a lot!

You must get sick of me during the day because when he comes home you hardly leave his side!

You still love hangers.

They bring true joy to your heart!

We've started giving you baths and letting you explore a little.

Dad's excited cause he's going to teach you to swim in there… Just kidding… kind of…

the first couple times you loved to try and grab the water.

Now you just love to play with your cup and your duck!

I gave you a ponytail for church one week. Your hair was wet and it slicked into this adorable little curl!

Not a great picture...

All the boys at church were looking at you cause you looked so good!

And the best thing from that day was that you held your bottle up all on your own!

Later that night we did a little crafting.

And by 'we' I mean you chewed a hanger and I crafted.

Oh, also the table.

My valentine decorations!
(I made this a couple weeks ago and you've gotten your little hands on it… needless to say, it's much shorter now.

I played some baby einstein's for you one morning.

Here you are enjoying it!

Ok, so one day you will have children and you will never go to the bathroom alone again.

You're still little enough that I will run to the bathroom from another room and almost finish before you get to me.

But you always get there pretty fast and this is the best part:

I LOVE to see you peer around the corner looking for me. It's so cute!

You are obsessed with daddy's iPad.

Every time he pulls it out you literally sprint over to it giggling.

One day we were matching. Because I'm one of those moms.

And I will probably match with her for as long as I can.

Another ponytail day

Every time you see your reflection, you kiss it!

Just chewin an apple!

I buckled you in because you were really squirmy.

Bad idea, guys.

You love yourself.

a lot.

There you go again!

Oh my goodness, you are so adorable in these headbands!

And you know it!

We decided to visit Uncle Colin at work one day. And then we decided to buy you some balloons.

It is always nice to get out of the house and even if you didn't need it, I needed the escape!

So we typed up a little thing for each balloon about why we love daddy. It was like a balloon party!

We continue to enjoy raising you!

And as always, we love you!

Love,
Mom and Dad
