Dear Kacie,
One day we made some halloween decorations! I love candy corn and when I saw this idea (painting paper plates and cutting them up) on Pinterest, I knew I had to do it!
You loved them and wanted to play with them all month!
The same day that we made them, Grandma Sandra's package arrived and it had candy corn and candy corn M&M's in it! So I let you try some!
Despite your face below, you LOVED them!
Remember how you climb? Well this was the day that our TV wall mount arrived. Your father hung it up that night because I was going insane trying to keep up with all your obnoxious climbing.
As you can see, I was trying real hard to get up and keep you off.
And then the next day, you climbed right up on the coffee table so you could get a better view of the TV.
We moved the coffee table too.
Although, you still climbed onto the old TV stand that we are trying to get rid of.
I also got this gift in the mail from your father!! He bought me this just in time for the holidays and Apple Pie making season!
We baby sat your friend Elie one day and you guys had a blast!
Then, the next day, Grandma Sandra came and surprised us with a visit! It was kind of a surprise because we weren't sure she was going to be able to come. But we were waiting impatiently for her to arrive and when she got there, you were standing at the window waiting!
Wether it was the treats in her purse or that she never wanted to put you down, you were both EXTREMELY happy to have each other!
And I was really glad to have her there too. She took care of me while I worked on growing your sibling. She did the dishes, brought salsa and made your dad some cinnamon rolls. And my 'some' I mean we were eating cinnamon rolls for weeks after. And daddy LOVED it! Thanks mom/grandma!
We had great adventures while she was here. You played in your old car seat
and helped grandma put away her bed.
You even enjoyed helping grandma with her physical therapy!
On Friday night we went to Corn Belly's and road the cow train.
grandma and Uncle Colin went through a haunted maze (did you ever get your sweater cleaned by the way grandma?)
And the best part was the corn beach!
You heard me right; there was literally a HUGE room of corn kernels to play in. You loved it and could have played in it all night. I could have watched you all night too!
And at the end of the night, you went down the slides, again and again, and again… and again. And one last time for good measure.
We went with our friends and of course, didn't get any pictures together! But it was fun to spend time with them, as always. Thanks for the invite V's!
Well Kacie, as always we love you bunches!
Mom and Dad.
