Whole30: Day's 4 & 5

Kill all the people.

That's supposed to be day 4&5.

I hope most people don't experience those feelings.

I experienced them a little bit on Sunday morning and Monday night. Everything was super annoying.

Sunday was fast Sunday. So I woke up and couldn't eat. Which normally on a fast Sunday, it wouldn't be a problem, but my body is going through a lot of changes apparently and it was tough!

Not to mention the lethargic-ness we were still feeling from day 3.

Sacrament was a joke guys. Kacie was hyper as could be, Kyle had to take her out and she walked the perimeter of the building. At one point the diaper bag was between Kyle and I on the bench. I leaned over to him and said he could scoot closer and Kyle said "I'm too tired to move."

Good news, we had marinated some chicken in our homemade BBQ sauce so when we got home, we grilled it up with pineapples!

It was very moist and delicious!

Overall, day 4 was an up and down day. We were reminded of just how wonderful of a gift our bodies are, and how we really need to be taking care of them to the best of our abilities.

But we were also tired, lazy and hungry.

As for day 5, much better. Kyle got up and went to the gym. Although it was difficult to get out of bed, he said once he was working out, he felt more energized than he has the past few weeks of working out. I still don't think I feel 100% better but I do notice an improvement. I still don't feel super energized but hey, it's only day 5!

In celebration of Cinco de Mayo (I totally planned this) we had some taco's and rice!

Sautéed chicken, bell peppers, onions and fire roasted tomatoes seasoned with salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder and lime juice.

Cauliflower rice:
Remove stems and leaves. Break cauliflower into small pieces. chop into fine pieces in a food processor. Heat olive oil in a pan. place cauliflower in pan and heat up. Add salt and pepper. We added cilantro to ours and I highly recommend that!

Umm, cauliflower rice? Ya, it's better than regular rice. It's so scrumptious.

Serve on lettuce like a taco!

Oh, and we forgot to cut up an avocado but I'm sure that is super tasty!

I am incredibly happy with myself for the willpower I have had! It's only been five days but I already have results!

My jaw has popped on the right side for about 2 1/2 years. And guess what?

ITS GONE!

Well not totally, but if you felt the difference, you would be absolutely satisfied too!

Next up, Nap time!
