Where's The Baby?

Dear Kacie and mystery baby,

You'll probably remember how much we like to go visit daddy at work. This one day we just sat in the car and you chilled by daddy and loved every second of it!

That night we went to Costco and you rode on the cart. It was hilarious cause you wanted to do it, we didn't even show you how!

So we took dad back to Thanksgiving Point one day because you had so much fun and I wanted to show him. The line for the pony ride was much longer and we were in it for about 30 minutes. You didn't even ride the pony at all this time and I might have been a little upset that we spent $2 on it, BUT there was a family in front of us with four girls that you loved. You spent most of the time in line playing with them, basically ignoring dad and I.

Adorable.

My cousin got married and had a carnival reception and it was pretty cool!

You will know these two ladies by the time you're reading this but they are two of my favorite people in the whole world! At this point in time, I am about 14 weeks pregnant with your mystery sibling and not feeling as great as I look!

Leaf Bug!

We didn't let you sleep in these PJ's after walking around WalMart in them. but it kept you happy so we let you push!

Brushing your teeth all by yourself. You love your tooth brush a ton so it makes brushing your teeth kind of annoying since you don't like to put it away! But I am glad we are instilling good habits in you!

Still loving bath time!

So I was walking down the isle at Ross looking for some maternity pants when I saw this crazy pattern and thought "man, pants are getting crazy these days"

And then I touched them.

And promptly put them in my cart.

Because it didn't matter if they fit or not.

That is how soft they are.

And then that night, I was going to put them on to show dad and you wouldn't let me! You started crying and tugging on them! So I took them off, and you wore them around your knock like a scarf. You kept checking yourself out in the mirror!

This picture is kind of creepy but you were saying 'cheese' for the camera!

You've found your belly button. And sometimes you walk around playing with it!

I am so excited that you are going to be a big sister. I know you don't totally understand (like probably not at all) that there is a baby in my belly. But your dad and I have taught you to point to my belly when we ask "where's the baby?"

And one day you just cuddled up on my belly and laid there for a few minutes.

We are soooooooo excited for April!

We love you and your baby mystery sibling!

Love,
Dad and Mom

Gus Gus!

Dear Kacie,

It has been wonderful to have a cousin your age close by. We have spent a lot of time with Gus and Desiree.

You two are cute cause you take turns following each other around.

One day you were both looking out the window so Dez went and got THE CUTEST pictures of you!

See, cuteness!

Another day we went to Thanksgiving Point to see the Animals. You can't really pet them but you and Gus love to look and try to touch them.

We had a little lunch and you sat right next to me and ate your PB&J!

Gus showed you how to ride the ponies

You were terrified at first and then you only lasted about one time around. But we got a cute picture!

This picture got out of order but you really liked the goats and lambs.

Thanks Dez and Gus for taking us on fun (free) adventures!

Adorable Overload!

Dear Kacie,

You love to have adventures! But mostly, you are good at just being cute,

ALL. THE. TIME!

That's mostly what this post is… just lots of cuteness!

Instead of playing with Gu's nativity set, you just rode it like a horse!

We were looking for some Sunday shoes and found these. We had to try them on you, but we did not buy them… they aren't really our style and also they were like 3 sizes to big!

Grandma Sandra sent you this adorable purse and you love to just wear it around your neck.

Church is quite the adventure these days… You just want to play and see what is going on every where else. I've started taking coloring books and they seem to entertain you (and dad and I) for a while.

You are getting so big and I think you are going to love nursery!

This is one of my very favorites of you, like ever! It just melts my heart and if you always look this cute, daddy will give you anything! (unless it's unreasonable. Then he will tell you no…but in a nice way)

You prefer to be a grown up and eat on the chairs instead of your high chair.

Never forget that you are beautiful!

Love,
Mom and Dad

Grandma Sandra!

Dear Kacie,

One day we made some halloween decorations! I love candy corn and when I saw this idea (painting paper plates and cutting them up) on Pinterest, I knew I had to do it!

You loved them and wanted to play with them all month!

The same day that we made them, Grandma Sandra's package arrived and it had candy corn and candy corn M&M's in it! So I let you try some!

Despite your face below, you LOVED them!

Remember how you climb? Well this was the day that our TV wall mount arrived. Your father hung it up that night because I was going insane trying to keep up with all your obnoxious climbing.

As you can see, I was trying real hard to get up and keep you off.

And then the next day, you climbed right up on the coffee table so you could get a better view of the TV.

We moved the coffee table too.

Although, you still climbed onto the old TV stand that we are trying to get rid of.

I also got this gift in the mail from your father!! He bought me this just in time for the holidays and Apple Pie making season!

We baby sat your friend Elie one day and you guys had a blast!

Then, the next day, Grandma Sandra came and surprised us with a visit! It was kind of a surprise because we weren't sure she was going to be able to come. But we were waiting impatiently for her to arrive and when she got there, you were standing at the window waiting!

Wether it was the treats in her purse or that she never wanted to put you down, you were both EXTREMELY happy to have each other!

And I was really glad to have her there too. She took care of me while I worked on growing your sibling. She did the dishes, brought salsa and made your dad some cinnamon rolls. And my 'some' I mean we were eating cinnamon rolls for weeks after. And daddy LOVED it! Thanks mom/grandma!

We had great adventures while she was here. You played in your old car seat

and helped grandma put away her bed.

You even enjoyed helping grandma with her physical therapy!

On Friday night we went to Corn Belly's and road the cow train.

grandma and Uncle Colin went through a haunted maze (did you ever get your sweater cleaned by the way grandma?)

And the best part was the corn beach!

You heard me right; there was literally a HUGE room of corn kernels to play in. You loved it and could have played in it all night. I could have watched you all night too!

And at the end of the night, you went down the slides, again and again, and again… and again. And one last time for good measure.

We went with our friends and of course, didn't get any pictures together! But it was fun to spend time with them, as always. Thanks for the invite V's!

Well Kacie, as always we love you bunches!

Mom and Dad.
